DMS Students Complete Canned Food Drive

Several weeks ago, DMS students in the Reading 180 classroom were required to create a flyer in the Reading 180 classroom for an assignment. The example was a can food drive.  In their discussion, students expressed an interest in creating a flyer and actually having some type of drive.  After getting approval, they made it happen.  Not only have they brought food, blankets, gloves, beanies, socks, toiletry items, they have also had some gently used clothes donated.
